Pens v Blue Jackets

Syko will miss yet another game with an "undisclosed" injury. :-/

On the bright side, tonight we're going straight for number eight! It's a matchup of sixes. (The Pens are 6^th in the Eastern Conference while the Blue Jackets are 6^th in the Western Conference.) But make no mistake. This one is gonna be tough - the Blue Jackets have some great players, including netminder Steve Mason, who just happens to lead the league in shut outs (9).

Here are two things you need to check out during intermission.

A couple of you have mentioned and/or sent this to me - Siddo designed a bowl that will be sold at an auction on Sunday that will benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Check out those sketches of Pittsburgh landmarks! Tell the truth: Do you think the Saint drew those doodles or do you think maybe he let his little sister, Taylor, do the honors?

Friend of The Show Allison Y. sent in this gem. The Onion has given us a few satirical articles based on our title man, but I don't think any have been as funny as this one. It wins simply for the following line:

Oh, and I got Evgeni Malkin a Malkin jersey, because Malkin's his favorite player.
