Penguins 0 - Lightning 1: A Dry Storm

Sidney Crosby
Not long after an offensive blitz, two tired teams played a very defensive game and the Penguins, and the fans, came away with very little.

The Tampa Bay Lightning withstood a furious Penguins third period to post a 1-0 win Saturday.

Vincent Lecavalier got Tampa Bay on the scoreboard 51 seconds into the second period when he got a puck past Marc-Andre Fleury.

Penguins rookie Colby Armstrong saw his points streak stop at six games with Saturday’s shutout. He had three goals and four assists in his last six games before meeting Tampa Bay.

Lightning goaltender Sean Burke turned away all 25 shots he faced for his second shutout of the season.

The Penguins wrap up their four-game road trip Thursday in Philadelphia.
Sir Sidney didn't play very much: 13:17.

Giving Sid a rest? Well, he had just 1 shot on goal, 0 points, finished EVEN and 3 for 5 in faceoffs.
